I still remember the first time I heard a Ferrari in real life.

I was seven.

My dad had taken me to Brands Hatch Circuit, a portal into the car world.

I was standing at the fence, watching the cars fly past.

A bright red F50 sped by.

I didn’t fully see it, but I remember it.

That sound, the raw sound of the engine, etched itself into my memory.

I already knew that sound from TV.

Watching Michael Schumacher in Formula 1 on weekends, sitting cross-legged in front of the screen, volume up, completely hooked.

I couldn’t be at the F1, but the sound of that Ferrari engine brought me closer.

Experiencing cars at the track or in F1, sparked a lifelong obsession with design that moves.

I used to draw Ferraris from memory.

I’d recreate cars from TV shows like Top Gear on paper.

And I’d experience simulation racing in Gran Turismo.

I didn’t need to own the cars, I just needed to experience them in my own way.

That obsession never faded. It evolved.

It took me from sketching to studying engineering, into the automotive industry, and now leading in tech.

Ferraris aren’t just fast, they’re layered with intention.

What pulled me in wasn’t just the sound or the specs.

It was the design language.

I was fascinated by everything, from the interiors to the gearboxes, the suspension geometry, to understanding how an engine works.

Design isn’t just how it looks. Especially in cars, it’s how it's built.
